Privacy policy

This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. Focusline Prep is a brand of Edulance Innovations Ltd (Istanbul, Turkey), which is responsible for this information.
What I collect
I only collect what you type into a form on this website:
- Apply form: who is filling it in, your name, the student’s name, your email, your country and time zone, the student’s grade or graduation year, the current Math score, the test date you are aiming for, what you are interested in, anything you tell me about practice so far, and whether you would like updates by email.
- Group courses form: your name, your email, the student’s grade, the target test date, your time zone and anything else you choose to tell me.
- Contact form: your name, your email and your message.
Each form also records which page it was sent from and how long the page was open before sending. This helps stop automated spam. I do not ask for a phone number, date of birth, school address or budget.
Why I use it
- To reply to your application or message, and to arrange lessons if we agree to work together.
- To send occasional updates by email, only if you ticked that box. You can unsubscribe at any time.
I do not sell your information, and I do not use it for advertising.
Why I am allowed to use it
- Replying to your application or message: you asked me to, before any agreement between us.
- Updates by email: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
- The spam check: keeping this website and its forms safe.
- Invoices and payment records: the law requires me to keep them.
Where it is kept and who helps me
- The website and the form entries are hosted by Kinsta, in a data center in the United States (Virginia).
- Emails, including the copy of each form I receive, go through Google Workspace.
These companies process the information on my behalf, under their own security and privacy terms.
How long I keep it
I keep form entries for 12 months after our last contact, then delete them. If you become a client, I keep invoices and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies for visitors, and it does not use analytics or advertising tools. If that changes, I will update this page first.
Students under 18
The forms are meant for parents and for students old enough to write to me themselves. If the student is under 18, please use a parent’s or guardian’s email. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has sent me information, write to me and I will delete it.
Your choices
Wherever you live, you can ask me to show you, correct or delete the information I have about you, and to stop sending updates. Write to contact@focuslineprep.com and I will reply by email.
If you think I have not handled your information properly, you can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If this policy changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
